Friend Inseparable
Huma has friends who live abroad. Her name is Hana. Now she lives in Mauritius, a small island in South Africa. Before parting, they are neighbors, in Papua. One time, Hana's father obtained opportunity to work in Mauritius. The whole family accompanies. Huma felt sad when parting with his best friend. Usually, every night they play together. At the beginning of the breakup, Huma feel lost his friend to tell stories. They often exchange stories with letters.
Often they wait for a reply. One or two weeks later, Huma could only read Hana's response to the story. Papua is growing. One time the internet connection was easy obtained. Huma immediately told the story in his letter to Hana, at the city is connected to the internet now.
Communication with letters on paper changes with electronic mail. Less than a few minutes, the letter will arrive to the destination. The news of the reply was not long awaited. Now, two or three times a week exchanging stories of Huma and Hana. Although separated by the oceans, their friendship remained closely intertwined.
Dr. Eka Julianta: Great Doctor, Unknown to Desperate
Nervous is immeasurable, when facing the human brain stem that is still alive. February 20, 2001, Dr. Eka Julianta Wahjoepramono faced major surgery, to remove a grape-sized tumor that inhabited the brain stem of his patient. This is his first experience since graduating from the Medical Faculty of Diponegoro University. The operation lasts four hours.
After that, Dr. Eka Julianto is called a neurosurgeon. His name is famous in international medical circles. Some world-famous universities invited him to teach medical students there about neurosurgery
Eka was considered an extraordinary doctor by the President of the World Neurosurgery Federation, Edward R. Laws, because of his expertise in dissecting the brain stem.
So far, this operation is considered very risky, because it is life threatening. Eka managed to do it. The patient is still living healthy now. Eka does not go through an easy way to get to her current position.
He tried to enter several college majors medicine in his time. The economic difficulties experienced by his family made him struggle. But it is precisely the difficulties and failures that forge it mentally. He firmly upheld his intentions, struggling as a science adventurer, to achieve his dream. The success of Dr. Eka became clear evidence that denied public doubts and world doubts about the progress of the medical world in Indonesia.
